Just wanted to take a moment in remembrance of Luciano Pavarotti, one of the most beloved and celebrated tenors of our time, who passed away at his home, at 5:00am local time, due to pancreatic cancer. He was 71.

Even if you don't consider yourself a fan of opera (and I am ), it was difficult not to be moved by his magnificent voice, or won over by his incandescent smile and larger than life persona.

Farwell, Pavarotti, you will be missed.
