Developer Tom Schey and enviromentalist Kelly Meyer created project7Ten. Designed by architect Melinda Gray, the house is on track to becoming California's first LEEd Platinum home. The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath modern home was constructed using sustainable materials and eco-conscious procedures-even the previous home on the property was reduced, reused and recycled. The home is fully furnished by eco-friendly companies such as Viesso, Modern Outdoor, Steelcase and KnollTextiles, with toxin free paints by Benjamin Moore and CaesarStone kitchn counter tops. Bath rooms feature recycled glass and porcelain tile by Walter Zanger, and are outfitted with Kohler's latest water conservation technology. Project7Ten also includes bamboo floring, Ge lighting system and apliances, and a Ford Scape Hybrid in the garage.
